Welcome to MOKU
At MOKU, it’s not just about building spaces – it’s about creating a way of life. With housing costs skyrocketing, we get how tough it can be to find a place that feels like home without breaking the bank. That’s why we’re all about offering practical, inspiring alternatives.
Maybe you dream of a tiny house nestled in nature, a mobile sanctuary to take wherever the road leads, or a minimalist retreat that’s all yours. Whatever your vision, we’re here to make it happen.
Let’s create a home that feels right for you,
free from convention,
full of possibility.

Living BIG
in a Tiny House
This 11m tiny home was created for Ellie and Charlie, proving that downsizing doesn’t mean compromising.
Designed as a full-time home, the space features a generous open kitchen, a cosy loft bedroom with integrated stair storage, a fireplace for winter evenings, and thoughtful details throughout—including a handcrafted Venetian plaster splashback.
Outside, the project extends beyond the tiny home itself, with a custom-built 8m deck connecting to an off-grid amenities building complete with a composting toilet and a microcement shower. Their daughter’s caravan sits alongside with its own awning and deck, creating a beautiful little family retreat.

"It’s freedom.. It’s gentle. It’s fun.
There’s not really any stress that we have to carry with us.. We don’t have to worry about the pressures of society and the pressures of having to keep up with everything… We’re just here living and gardening…”
